"A profound unmitigated loneliness is the only truth of life"
- R.K. Narayan

Old man: Looks like this is a disease of the new generation. Why can't you just live happily like us?

Young man: happily?

Old man: Yeah. All those nonsensical questions you ask. What's the point of that? "What is the meaning of life? Who am I? What is my real purpose?" What the hell is wrong with you?

Young man: But we need the answers for it, don't we?

Old man: I don't care if we need the answers. Men have always had an idea of how to live life. Look at me or the other elders. We did the right things at the right time? Youth is the age to find a job, build a career. Slog it out and earn a lot of money. Save as much money as you can. Make your life comfortable. Get married and have kids. Make their life comfortable. Spread happiness. Help others in need. Always maintain a good image in the hearts of people. Enjoy life. That's what we are here for. Enjoy the gifts of God. Enjoy life. Life is a journey. You enjoy every moment of it. All these stupid questions you young people ask. Damn it; Damn you!

A long pause.

Young man: Hey tell me - have you ever, in your long life, left on a journey that you didn't know where you were going to or what you were going for?

Old man: Hell no! Why would I travel aimlessly like that? Again one of your funny questions. Your generation has it all so messed up young man!

Young man: exactly!
